I agree with Melanie about the composition maybe a crop that concentrate the attention in the great detail of the petals could improve the image.

72 Dec 22 Reply Hi Adrian, many thanks for your comment, and yes I have removed some of the vegetation from the lower left corner because it took too much attention maybe I should work a little more on this detail so that it was not noticed.

72 Dec 22 Comment Adrian, you have captured this magnificent landscape well, the view is fantastic and I like the inclusion of the flowers in the foreground but perhaps i would have made these flowers appear a little prominent in the foreground by getting much closer to them, that would have introduced a greater depth of field to the image.

72 Dec 22 Comment Hi Marie, you are very lucky that you can take photos of this beautiful birds from your kitchen. It is a great capture with a nice background, eye contact and sharp. It is not easy to get a nice interaction shots that get the best results in international competitions but practice is the key.
