Hi Brad,
I loved this image, the painter effect and the texture works well, the girl is in the canvas reenforcing the idea of someone painting beauty through the nature. I find that you put all together very well. I have the same thoughts about the white spot that is down in the frame.
well done! |

Hi Alan,
it is a wonderful image, looking at it you can feel that you are already inside of the room contemplating how the little fairy is tiding her dancer shoes and how the cat is attentive to any movement
I totally agree with the suggestions about vignetting and the details outside of the house
well done! |

Hi Kirsty,
I really like how the image has turned out, and the way that it has become cohesive between the history and the image approach
I really like the Peggy suggestion of rearranging the sisters around.
Well done! |

Many thanks Kirsti, I didn't think about to add a touch of fog in the right side but you are right it could help to direct the viewer directly to the farmhouse.

Hi Kirsti,
You have created an image where you want show the determination and the yearning of the Mermaid, quite difficult to get it. I agree with Peggy, as you flipped the layer of the water it looks a little unnatural, and for me the other weak point is the two other mermaids,I don't get the feeling that they are underwater maybe is for the position of them.
I tried if I can get your concept and this is my version |

Hi Aavo,
You have created a beautiful image, the tree has a very nice shape and the addition of the lights recreate the idea of someone living inside it.
I think you have manage quite nicely the blending between the tree and the foggy background with only small areas where may you need to work a bit more.
I like overall the final image but I am not sure about the colour as you said that you attempt to create a day to night image. If I were you I might change the brown tones to blue ones to simulate a night time
I was playing a little with your image to recreate the night effect, I applied a colour fill and a bit of contrast and darkened the background. For the lights I painted with yellow colour and blend in soft light |

Hi Peggy,
I really like the way that you create a separation between the two birds creating this image that shows the essence of this beautiful bird.
I agree with Kirsti about the version, I also like more the black and white and the way that her darken the background giving more importance to the flamingo |

Hi Russell,
I like the softness and the colours of your image.I find the composition very attractive to the viewer.
The droplets are pin sharp contrasting with the soft it helps to concentrate the attention on them. May a bit of sharpness in the front petal help to concentrate a little more in this area.
Beautiful image well done |

Hi Diana,
I waiting that spring brings here some fabulous opportunities to shot more flowers, I love Dalias and its petal design is an open door to many creative approaches.
You capture is beautifuly and I can see that you did some steps to the creative path, isolating the flower and placing it in a pleasant background even the choice of the lens is in this direction. Go them! and play with your flower, explore more intimate compositions and find the soul of this beautiful flower

Hi Al,
You did a good work with this image revealing details in lights and shadows. I like how the warm tones work with the cold ones in the shadow areas. The final image looks close to be a paint. I think the overall image It works very well. |

Hi Adrian,
Wonderful waterfall that you have capture, it is on my list and I hope I could capture as well as you did.
I agree with Isaac suggestions and for me your second version improve a lot over the first one. My only suggestion could be if the inclusion of a light vignetting may focus more the attention in the waterfall
Very good features that Olympus has when you don't want to carry a tripod all the day around. |

Hi Isaac,
I love the White Egrets, and I would like to have the opportunity of get a shot like this.
The detail and sharpens is remarkable. If I have to say something that could improve the image may suggest to darken a little the background and recover a little the highlights and if you are not using this image in nature competitions may you can clean some of the branches that has more light and get the attention fighting with the subject. |

Hi Marie,
I love this birds but bloody hell when you try to get an image of them flying it is almost impossible due to the unpredictable
nature of their flight.
I love the crop and the colours and agree with Isaac about the distractions in the background, it is a beautiful image and you manage very well. |

Hi Barbara,
You have a very nice bush in your garden that attract the most beautiful butterflies giving to you the opportunity to get some pictures from them.
You chose to shot with 70-200 mm lens I guess you didn't want to scare your butterfly and the same time you were looking to magnify it as much as possible in the framing. I find that a longer telephoto lens like 100-400 mm works better in this kind of situations as the minimum focus distance is less than
in the 70-200 mm and also create a more softer background.
I totally agreed with the Isaac suggestions about crop and darken the background. |

What a beautiful place to visit, This rolling hills reminded me of the hills of Tuscany in Italy. You chose a symmetrical composition I suppose it was to include the rays of light that certainly add interest to the image.
I really like the light that is illuminating the hills and I feel that a cropping suggestion could improve the attention in this area creating another version of this beautiful rolling hills. |

Hi Isaac, Tanks for your suggestions, they really make the bird pop up. I like to take my images from a very low point of view to connect with the bird but my knees have begun to tell me that it is too low! |

Hi Bruce, Oystercatchers are one of my favorite too. Thanks for your suggestion about the crop. I am always afraid to make too much cropping as I usually suffer from the caged bird syndrome losing the reference with the environment. |
