Hi Aavo, I am agree with you the light gives the final touch in the image, to create it I have used the image of the sea water as overlay and play with the blending modes, I have found that multiply gave me the texture that I liked.
In another layer I have painted with a brush some more side light reducing the opacity of 50% and soft light fusion mode.
To finish the image I have applied a little more light in some areas and in others I have darkened.

Hi Peter,
I really admire the imagination you have had to create this image. I like the science fiction scene and I agree that Saturn is perhaps a little big but I really like the way you created the ring.
I also wonder what would happen if instead to illuminating the pine tree and making it so prominent in front of the moon you will leave it as a silhouette because now I feel that it is competing with the luminosity of the moon, or maybe the opposite darkening the moon and leaving the tree illuminate.
Well done!

Hi Brad,
You have created an interesting image. I like the way the top of the image merges with the flower, but I am not sure that the elements work all together.
I don't feel that the reflection at the bottom of the image adds anything to the rest of the image and maybe I would have removed the circle in lower left, it is a bit distracting for me.
Love the idea of one world on the surface and another below the surface but in my humble opinion you have to play a little more and find a stronger final image.
Go for it! |

Hi Kathy,
this is a lovely image with a lot of message behind it.
The proportions, the colours and the final touch with the texture work very well.
The follower also conveys to me the counterpoint of the candidate's optimism representing the disbelief of the population agains the candidate.
Well done!

Hi Aavo, this is a successful image that really enjoy. There is nothing wrong with making a simple image, what it counts is the results and for me this is a good one.
I like the idea of placing the cookers on top of the soup cans, and for me the one on the right transmits the feeling perfectly.
My only suggestion is that it would happen if you played a little with the image and for example make the faces of the cookers a little less transparent.
Overall I have to congratulate for the idea and the image. Well done.

Hi Peggy, I like this image that you have created, I really enjoy the painting effect it has, for me the colours merge well and the contemplative pose of the girl finishes the image. Thanks you for giving all the details of the editing process
It has been very illustrative and this image is a very good example of transformation and creation of a lovely image. |
