The interaction between the two men makes this image one that each viewer can develope thier own story from, expecially the man on the right. I can imagine him saying, "you can't be serious" or "your kidding". It is a good catch with interest and impact and would look artistic framed with a big white matt.
Can't control things when shooting street photography, but if you wanted to make a few adjustments, not for composition, you could remove the table a chair, and then maybe crop from the top and bottom. I tried it just for fun.

Great subject with many shapes, tones, shadows and light to give it depth. I too am not bothered by the light on the fabric as it adds dimension to the image.
It tends to lead into then back out of the image I wonder if shooting it in more of a pano and including the bell would give it even more interest and keep the viewer in the image. |

An interesting image with nice shapes and angles. A great subject and story. A good choice for B&W.
I too would like to see a portion of the base to give it dimension. It appears to have been shot during mid day with flat light. Even though there is little surface to create shadows and light it would help create some depth if there were light and shadow. |

What a great shot. It looks like a composite, but it is even better that it is natural. The lights and the right, the brighter area on the left and the area along the bottom work well as a framing effect. The tones and textures all work well together. A very strong image. Another competition possibility.
I am a little surprised that this made it past the PSA reviewers. I had submitted one of a person through a window at night and they removed it stating it was invasion of privacy. Maybe the difference might be that mine was of a person in thier home. |

The people do it, they command the image. The architecture with great shapes, tones and contrast lead to the people. The leg/column leading down to them and the 2 objects on the lower wall create a framing effect to enhance and highlight the people.
I agree with the crop and the toning in Pauls version. The removal of the flowers at the top is a good choice also.
A very strong image with a story to be created by the viewer, I think it would score well in competition. |

Interesting composition and lighting. I would not have thought of using that effect but it is very interesting with high impact. This would be great to print in very large format for a large wall.
I am note sure of the highlight spot, it does and it does not work for me. It for sure pulls the eye, but then it cause the viewer to forcefully look away and into the rest off the image. Bottom line, it adds tension that adds strong impact to the image, which is good. |
