39 Oct 25 Comment A great subject with good possibility for processing to make it stronger.

I have to agree woth the others. Overall it is quite flat with little definition, no shadow to light areas that would provide depth. The version by Paul works hovern it might be too harsh. For me, except for the top of the right hand leaf, nothing is in focus. The partial leaf bottom left corner tends to be a distraction as it tends to be darker than the rest. I made some adjustments and a crop, let me know what you think.

39 Oct 25 Comment Strong image and well composed. Shooting in through the door opening is a great compositional choice as it adds separation from the outside leading in to the light. The detail, shadows and light on the inside are quite dramatic. A very strong image that feels like I am standing there with an invitation to go inside. Well done. Oct 21st
39 Oct 25 Comment I would call this "The birds, the birds" as the people and the birds tend to work together to tell a story and provide good scale. The vanishing line effect is very strong and helps lead the viewer to the birds and people. The light over the cliff adds back light to the birds and make then stand out. I agree with a little separation of the cliff by adding a bit of contrast. Oct 21st
39 Oct 25 Comment A great conversion to B&W. The composition flow works well with the boat coming in from the right bringing the viewer to the man fishing from the pier. The clouds are an added bonus, add drama and a feel of a cold day even though he is wearing shorts. The detail in the water and throughout make for a sharp image. The is depth created with the different areas, pier, water, boat, buildings, and sky each have their own tone and separation and do not blend together. Very strong image. Oct 21st
39 Oct 25 Comment Great catch of some dramatic action. At first I did not see the hippos swimming in the background as the wildebeest, zebras and hippo in the foreground pull the attention and keep you there. The composition with the river and dry ground coming in from bottom right and leading in then back out top right brings the viewer through the image in a great flow.

It appears to be a little bright and I wonder if some selective adjustments might give it more depth. I made adjsutments to the water, the animals, the foregound hippo, the background hippos and the land where the others are coming through. Let me know hat you think.

39 Oct 25 Comment Lots of great in this shot. The composition, the lighting, the details and the subject. The curve of the stairs, ceiling, and railings lend well to the mystery. Well done. Oct 21st
