Thanks, I agree that clouds would be a good thing, but I tend not to add things that were not there. That said, I did add clouds in this image. |

Capturing white snow is not always easy, but the snow here is right on. There is good detail and depth in the snow, cabin and trees. Always good to have clouds in the sky.
The crop appears a bit tight, I would like to see mote of the cabin, but I am not sure what is to the left or if it is worth including. |

This tells a story, and the highlights on your husband's face and hand pull the viewer right where you want it. I think the B&W is stronger.
I would tone down the light on the bushes, especially the one straight up from his hand, as they distract and pull from the subject.

The merge of boddies is very strong providing interest and impact to the image. The lighting is very good, maybe pull it down a little on the man. Very good shadow to light giving good depth over all. The Lightroom adjustments work well to make the people stand out from the background. Good catch. |

The conversion to B&W gives it more impact. Looks like the contrast and details were adjusted and church and bas were straightened. His pointing to the heavens along with the steeple work well together. Cropping out the partial building on the right removes a bit of distraction.
The statue might have stood out even more if it were not merging with the church. Not sure if you could have moved to the right to get separation on both sides. |

Very strong conversion, the B&W stands out more than the color version. The focus on the eyes and blurred foreground pull the viewer in to the subject.
I think the amount of weight at the top and bottom over powers the Lion. I wonder if changing it from a square format to something like a 4:3 aspect and eliminate some of the top and bottom and place the eyes are at upper left thirds would give it even more impact/interest. |
