The bars across the image create depth and bring special attention to the heads of the sheep. Having the attention of all three sheep on the camera is exceptional. The eyes stand out and draw attention from the viewer. The conversion to B&W is well done, creating a stronger image than the color.
I can see nothing to change. This is a competition-worthy image and a wall hanger. |

A great subject and composition for B&W. Strong details and contrast make it pop. The shadows of the benches are a strong component. The Transamerica building is placed well in the composition and works to pull the viewer in.
It may be a bit too dark. |

It is very nice, I love minimalism, and this one works well. I especially like the reflection and shadow of the person
I might suggest lowering the contrast of the area around the person. The color version has less contrast and works better. Leave the contrast on the subject higher to bring him out more from the surroundings.
A strong image. |

This tells an interesting story, and it works well in B&W. The blur of the background gives the subject more emphasis and causes the eye to go right to the subject. The focus, contrast, DOF, and tones all work to bring the subject come to life.
Maybe more room could have been left in front of the boat for it to move into. |

I can see the beauty you are referring to. The path leads the viewer in, and the curve leaves us where there is more to see.
Overall, it appears to be a bit flat. The framing of the trees above is too much, a third of the image, and it is heavy, being so dark, and distracting on the left where it hangs down into the garden. If it were cropped from the top, about a third, it becomes stronger, and the hanging branches on the left are less distracting. |

I love to see bison; I have often seen them in the Tetons and Yellowstone. They are great to photograph.
The conversion to sepia works well, as they tend to have that color anyway. The DOF, contrast, and detail are all excellent. Getting both eyes looking is a bonus. A strong image. |
