I did the crop so you could see what I was referring to. |

The engine really stands out in the B&W version vs. the color. The engine is tack sharp from front to back and creates strong impact. The addition of the clouds is a plus and adds more power to the overall image.
I might crop a little from the top and right, for me it makes the engine look stronger. |

A strong conversion to B&W. Your adjustment were all made to the right areas to make this image stand out with impact. The headlight and the DODGE name really pop and add to the image. The angle of the shot gives the image tension and impact.
Well done. |

The conversion makes the image much stronger than the color version. At first look the clouds above the tower look like lightening pulling the viewer right in. The bright clouds make this image along with the sharp tower and power lines.
I might crop slightly from the top to give the tower and bright clouds even more impact.
A very strong image. |

A very strong image and the man adds to the impact. I feel the man adds more impact as is, without bringing out more detail. The angle of the shot works as a vanishing point leading to the mystery man. The lighting is creating shadow and highlight on the statues making them stand out.
Frans crop is interesting and does work, however, it also brings more attention to the man, which tends to take away from the rest of the image, so I prefer the original crop. |

A great pose and good interaction with the camera. There are good catchlights in the eyes to help pull the viewer in. The background has been well so as to not distract in the B&W version.
There is a softness to some areas that are a bit distracting, especially the necklace and her left eye. I don't know if you control the DOF, but it might be the issue with the DOF. |

They look very docile and not concerned about you being there. An interesting catch that makes a person look longer. The DOF, tones and sharp focus of the horses is good and makes then stand out. Wondering if any processing was done on the area above the horses? To me it does not look natural, maybe it's from using aperture f/3.5, not sure. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the cropping, it does tend to make it stronger. I tried a little more contrast, took it to +12 before the trees started going too dark. |
