This has good impact and interest. They look very powerful and like they are swimming right at you. I think I prefer the color, it gives a feeling of cold because it is blue. That said, we are a monochrome group, not B&W, so tints are ok to use.
Even though I know water does not slant, there is a good tension and impact to leaving it that way.
I appears a bit over sharpened causing the ice to look odd. |

This is very interesting as there is a small chapel here that is very similar but built with stone. This has good tones, detail and contrast. I really like that we can see inside with some detail. This is an ideal subject for B&W and your editing worked well.
The image size is very small, per the guidelines they can be 1200-1400 on the long side. These are 217 and 148. |

I agree with Jerry and Larry and your sharpening works very well to bring strong impact and interest to the image. I would love to go there, I watch the Tour de France every year just to see the landscapes and buildings, beautiful.
Would be great if there were some clouds in the sky. |

Good job cropping out the tourists and building the wall back in. It has very good DOF and the long shadows help with a feeling of being there.
Could maybe have toned down the the very bright person behind the gate without removing them. |

This has a painterly look, soft and smooth. Very pleasing. The tones, shadows and highlights all work well to give it depth.
I think I would crop off the bottom, it is distracting and pulls from the main subject. |

Caught the girls emotion and mood very well. The story is great. The eye is sharp and has a catch light which pulls the viewer in.
The selection is a little soft around the edges, especially the front of her dress. For me the color version stands out Morel and has more impact. Keeping the people in the image might tell the story better, just a thought. |
