I like it, great tones and clarity. It has an intensity to it that is captivating. Her eye pulls me right in, then I see the camera and the rest. I think cropping her right arm works well, and much better than the full arm in the color version. Good one. |

The composition and subject are great. Good choice to crop out the partial person far left and the two people sitting third table left is an added bonus.
For me I don't think the radical changes worked. The image has harsh details and what looks like excessive noise. The smaller version works better than when I enlarge it. If this is the effect you were looking for, it worked, just not my style. |

Minimalism you got. It has good impact and interest.
My only comment is, I liked the wider image of the original. It is a bit too square for the subject but the same effect could be accomplished by cropping the top some.

Very cool, it looks like I am laying on the floor myself as the DOF is very strong. Great details, lighting and tones throughout.
There is just a slight tilt on the left and right sides, that's me being picky. |

Really did catch the steam which creates a strong part of the story.
I think the crop is too close on the top and the left. Not sure if you could have included all the steam with out that close crop but it looks like it was unintentional. |

The subject is great and the dust adds to the story. Lots to work with and with some tweaking it could be very strong.
For me, I would like to see slightly more detail in the subjects, less boarder as it distracts from the dark image and a little less highlight in the dust. With the amount of light on the dust, the eye is pulled to the dust areas and away from the subjects. |
