Strong. I like simplicity and this is one. The eye goes immediately to the photographer and then follows the lines on the dunes and then back to the photographer. It is no question he is a photographer with the camera up to his eye. The tones are great and especially the lighter tones where the photographer stands. Well caught. |

An interesting image, I like all the stairs, they tend to have a motion all their own. The attitude of the lady is attention grabbing, I am not able to tell what she may be doing or thinking. She adds a bit of tension and mystic to the image. Not sure what she is holding but it looks like the statue behind her, with the arm and light removed. The statue and the lady tend to mimic each other which adds another intrigue to the image. The lighting with shadows and highlights are very good. The B&W works better than the color, there appears to be more detail, maybe from the closer crop, which works well. Lots to look at and ponder. |

Larry, you are correct, that's where my "Not technically great" comes from, I missed getting sharp focus on the eye. Yes, I was using auto focus and having a hard time getting the focus point to where I wanted it. |

I think the long exposure worked well, I especially like the waves higher up on the shore. The composition works well with the shoreline coming in from bottom left and leading up to the was stacks. The water was smoothed out just enough to leave some action detail. I also like the angle and inclusion of the foreground to give a base and perspective.
I think the sky got a little messed up in the B&W version. |

Wow, what a view. The glacier pulls me right in and to the mountain with the clouds hanging on it. There are many shades of light throughout the image making different areas interesting to look at. Great catch.
Wondering if a little more contrast might make it pop a bit more. |

Many layers to see here with the multi levels of falls and rocks. I like the inclusion of some very interesting clouds. Th water, even though smooth still has some texture to it, in some areas a lacy look.
I have tried the Live Photo function but never pulled it off the phone. When you download it from the phone is it one image or multiple? Are the images merged on the phone or later in processing or do you just take one image from the video? |
