The name was smudged due to Adobe Stock not wanting it. |

Lance, I agree with your crop, it focusses more on the wall and building through the opening. The wider crop made me look for more where this crop removed the busy area to the right and on the ground and now I can focus on the reason for the photo in the first place. |

Did not see the man in the B&W, but he is very clear in the color. I have to agree with Larry on cropping out the boats, to me the story is the man and the shadow of the temple. If the boats are cropped out the man becomes the main subject and with a little adjustment to him the image will have strong impact and interest. |

I like the composition and angle of the shot and the tones on the wall are very good. I have been here also and it feels a little cut off, I feel the crop is too close on both sides. The more I look at it the more I think the bright sky helps bring out the cross. |

The effect on the sky and water are great but I am not a fan go infrared on the the trees and grasses. The composition for the subject is very good, i like the flow of the water and sky through the image. Not sure what the buildings are but maybe they could be brought out more. |

I find the lighting somewhat harsh and soft at the same time. She is staring right in to me with those eyes. seems a little off balance with the long hair on the right and the too close crop on the left. Still a strong image. The eyes, the eyes! |

There is a lot going on here and the background seems out of context with the subjects. The difference in the left and right legs draws attention and the somewhat blank look on the gentleman's face causes me to wonder what he is thinking. For me all these things create a tension that keeps me looking.
Technically I think Larrys version helps but does not add to or take away from the story in the image. I find it very strong and compelling. |
