39 Aug 20 Comment I agree with taking away some of the black on the bottom but I think mountains are more of a pano shot so using a square crop, for me, takes a lot away from the feel. Aug 17th

39 Aug 20 Comment I have been here a couple times, a great place and subject. I think the B&W conversion works well. catching the moon at that spot is a real plus. I also like the light at the horizon on the right and clouds over the building. The light hitting the top portion and creating some shadow effects is also a good effect. It appears a bit out of balance, I wonder if it would have worked to include the full building, as I remember, camera left is the same shape as camera right, I think the balance would have been stronger. 39 Aug 20 Comment You really got the effect you wanted. Looks like it could have been taken in 1944. The gun barrel looks like it is coming right out of the image at me, not always easy to get that DOF all in focus. The expressions of the people on and especially in the tank are great. I think the tone used works well for the subject. The boarder is a strong addition. All in all, well done, great story and image. Aug 7th
39 Aug 20 Comment WOW, love how the daisies stand out, very powerful. Great detail/sharpness and DOF. I would consider this a wall hanger. Really works much better in B&W than in color. They appear a little lost in the color image. Great post work. Aug 4th

39 Aug 20 Comment A very soft feeling with great light coming from the top left and lighting the water and water plants. The light pulls me right to the boathouse. Wonder if a little more adjustment to the boathouse would bring it out more. Aug 4th
