Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
39 May 20 Comment I think you have brought out what you could, considering the light you had to work with. Each layer is well defined from the others and the tree stands out well and is a good base point. If anything it might be a little too contrasty or sharp. May 3rd
39 May 20 Comment It is fun to use and inexpensive. Fits some situations and not so much others. May 3rd
39 May 20 Comment An interesting tension added by cropping the people above, there is great balance by the two men on the sides. Great detail in all that white. I also like how the one man is looking at you and the other is looking away, it adds quite a different feel to the image. Well done. May 2nd
39 May 20 Comment A good way show the perspective. It also tells a story of people living in this rough country side. Even though there is not a lot of color, I prefer the color. The composition works well with the houses being a line from bottom left then the Hoodoos going from right to left. The clouds are a plus. May 2nd
39 May 20 Comment Larry, that works also. May 2nd
39 May 20 Reply That would be true, I have a Holga but have not used it for years, stopped when I could not get the negatives processed at a drug store. May 2nd
39 May 20 Comment Can't tell the story better than this. The sign is stark B&W and stands out to tell the story of the empty playground.

Very sad days, although they are starting to open up a bit here. The trails and parks here have been open, I go to a national wildlife refuge about 25 miles from me, there is a 7 mile loop we can drive and never get out of the car. I only get out of the car when I find new spring flowers to shoot but don't get near anyone.

39 May 20 Comment Vincent, that new version is right on, looks much stronger. Well done. May 2nd
39 May 20 Comment I like piers and you captured a great one here. The clouds are a plus and all the detail in the pier really pops. If anything I might give it a bit more contrast. but a strong image as is. May 1st
39 May 20 Comment I have been here a few times, the Grand Tetons are some of my favorite places ever. I was there just last June, which I was going this June.

Great location with a great reflection and about the best composition to get there. Some vey nice clouds and good detail. I find the B&W to be flat overall with all the same tones. The original is a bit dark but has all the detail needed to make a great image. The adjusted color image looks a bit too bright but stronger than the B&W because the colors give some tone separation between the sky, trees, mountains and lake. There is still lots of info to work this image into a stronger one.
