The contrast and tones in this image are great. I really like the scribbling on the window, it gives it interest and impact. The scribbling is not easily seen in the color version. BTW, the color version is very small. I would only add a stroke around it to set it off from the background. I might also take out the bright spot top left. This is definitely a printer. |

For me the story is the sky and the foreground only a perspective base to support the sky. It is what I saw and felt at the time. Here is the color version for comparison. |

Great story and a great shot. I can see his apprehension and his life behind those eyes. The catch lights are very good and pull me in to his eyes. Not a fan of the texture though. |

I like the lighting and contrast on the dancers. A very soft/smooth feel to the subjects. Would like more light on the dancer to the left as her face does not show well. It would also be good to have a thin stroke around the image to keep it from blending with the background. |

The light on the building is great and the overall detail sharp. The chess pieces work well with the subject and provides an interesting touch. It is a little like two images leaving me looking back and forth between the chess set and the castle. I find the crop to be too tight, part of the roof on the right is cropped into along with one of the chess pieces and the statue on the left is right at the edge, and all but the main building is very dark and difficult to see details, did not see the chess pieces until I looked harder and because the building drew my attention. |

This image has good impact and interest. The clouds are great with good contrast. The dog being white stands out and catches the eye and I like how it is so close to the bottom and left edge. The road leading in works well to bring the eye to the dog also. Overall I find the image a bit flat, I would lighten the foreground and the dog to give more contrast from the sky and make the dog stand out even more. A very nice image and pleasing to view. |
