39 Dec 18 Comment Very interesting effect from the haze, it gives the image great impact and interest. The straight sharp lines and contrast of the buildings on the sides force the eye to see and concentrate on the Burj tower. Very nice spontaneous shot. Dec 11th
39 Dec 18 Comment The technique used really makes the image pop. It does not suffer from shooting a round subject in a square format as happens too often. Very good tones, detail and DOF. I might prefer that the stem and leaf at the bottom be in the image but a minor issue. Dec 11th

39 Dec 18 Comment Very strong impact and interest in this image. Even though he is on the street it makes a person wonder about what he is reading and if it takes him away from some of his life situations. Great story. The lighting, contrast and detail are very good and it works great in B&W. I think there is a bit of vignette and it puts emphasis and pulls the eye right where you want it. Would not change a thing, great catch. Dec 3rd
39 Dec 18 Comment It looks like a place I would not want to be when it was in operation. I think you captured the essence of the place. The graffiti adds to the eeriness of the overall feel. Using B&W works well however I tend to see more detail in the color version. I was also wondering if there are more machines and if a pano would give more impact. A truly interesting image. Dec 3rd
