39 Oct 18 Comment It is great to see all the comments, thanks everyone Oct 31st
39 Oct 18 Comment Very dramatic with great detail. The detail in the buildings is very good. A strong composition with the v of the lake leading the viewer into the image. The clouds really add to the impact of the image. The smoothness of the water from the long exposure is great. Two things bother, the horizon is not straight and the top corners have very dark vignetting. Very strong image though, I would tend to print and hang this one. Oct 9th
39 Oct 18 Comment A very interesting shot. I like the concept and it does tell a story. Some how I feel like I need to see more of the camels, it just feels incomplete to me. Maybe that is the effect you wanted, if so it works. If there were more to see I am not sure it would make the image better, it's a conundrum. Oct 9th
39 Oct 18 Comment Some of my favorite images have dramatic clouds in them. This works well with the fence leading the viewer in. A simple shot but with good interest. I refer the B&W, it tends to hold my interest more. The color one makes me want more of a payoff at the end of the fence. Oct 4th
39 Oct 18 Comment Lois, I looked at it again in PS and the color looks to be sepia there also. Oct 4th
39 Oct 18 Comment The concept is great and I like the tones. Parts of it look very sharp, like the columns, and other parts not so much, I suppose from the filters or effects. It has that old photo type look which fits the subject. The open sky is a plus, I darkened the sky a bit to make it separate from the building and I think it adds a new dimension. Le the know what you think. Oct 3rd
39 Oct 18 Comment First, we are a monochrome group, not B&W so this works just fine.

Being from Minnesota I like this image as I see this happening here, especially now in the fall. The tone works great for the subject and creates more impact and interest. The pano is also a very strong effect and the birds, they really add to the image. Feels like being there. Not sure about the piece of equipment poking up to the right, a little distracting.

39 Oct 18 Comment This is a great subject for B&W, great contrast, tones and the clouds are an added bonus. The leading line from the bottom works well to pull the eye in to the boat. The blur that comes from over the boat and down over the oar does not look natural to me, I know it is raining in the background but this small area does not look like rain. But, I have been wrong many a time. Oct 1st
