39 Aug 17 Comment Very dynamic image, strong contrast and the DOF makes the car jump right at the viewer. The angle of the shot also works to make the car stand out. If I had to pick a little it would be the bright white spot and black area in the windshield, but that is nit picking. Great shot. Aug 12th
39 Aug 17 Comment I really like how the DOF makes this look almost 3D. The square format and sepia tone work very well for this subject. The lighting on the hands and guitar works well to pull the eye into that area. Two things bother me some, the lost detail in the hair and the knee, not terrible but just a bit distracting. Aug 8th
39 Aug 17 Comment A very pleasing image, makes me want to be there. It gives a story between new and old with the newer buildings in the background and the old in the foreground. The clouds are a plus. I think it could use a little overall contrast and then extra contrast in the clouds. The long building left of the ship has lots of detail, I would select it and adjust it to bring out the detail more. The bright items far bottom left pull the eye some, I would remove them. Just me, nice shot. Aug 3rd
39 Aug 17 Comment I really like how the path leads into the cross and then on past the cross, it gives the viewer something to build a story around. The contrast, tones and details make the image very strong and the clouds are a definite plus. Maybe a little tight at the top above the cross. A strong image. Aug 3rd
39 Aug 17 Comment Very cool angle on this shot. The composition pulls the eye right into the image. I agree with adding a little more contrast but I think I like the building there as a payoff for following the lines vs, just leading out of the image. That said I would have liked the whole building in the image with a little room on the left so the building does not leave the image. Still like the shot. Aug 3rd
