Thanks, I do agree it is a little too much contrast. I have other versions that work better. |

This is a WOW image. Very stunning shapes, lines, tones and contrast. The lighting is also very strong, a winner in my book. |

This image has great detail, tones and contrast. The subject has a great face. I have a small dog and I know how hard it can be to take their picture. I would have liked the dog to be looking at the camera or at least be able to see the eyes better because the face is the main focal point and is being lost to the rest of the body. |

A great job of making the main subject stand out. The DOF puts makes him the strong player here. Does not matter where I look my eye goes right to him. very well done. Strong image. |

I too like the simplicity of this image and tend to prefer this type image. The reflections are very good and the misty background helps the overall feel. Looking at the histogram I see it could be lighted about a third and with a little more contrast it tends to pop more. As for competition I find these tend not to do well, but maybe in a themed competition like, "Sea Shores" it would be strong. |

A very interesting and impactful image. The contrast and tones are very strong. The column leading up from the bottom right pulls the viewer into the image and the ceiling holds them. I think it could be even more impactful if the column were to stand out more from the rest either by selecting the column or the ceiling and making a separate adjustment. I tried both and found that adjusting the ceiling with more contrast and light it makes the column stronger. |
