The non-vertical lines bothered me too - I will straighten them in the original soon. Thanks for your comments - much appreciated. |

Great autumn colours. I agree that the little green plant in the foreground is a slight distraction. Would it work better flipped horizontally, so that the eye leads from left to right? |

I like the symmetry of the crop, which works well in leading the eye into the image.
The mono conversion is a good choice, as I see the colour in the original as a bit of a distraction, and the grain in the timbers is also shown much better.
If I'm being picky, I see a few digital artifacts around the main cables as they cut through the clouds - easily fixed I think. Also, is there a hint of graininess in the clouds, or is that my eyes?
A great image to start your membership of the group! |

I like the figures on the beach, especially the one about to enter the sunlight on the sand. I quite like the darkness of the image , as it's a bit different from the norm - ditto the portrait crop.
One big error - the horizon isn't level :)
I can't quite see Newfoundland - maybe a longer lens next time.
I've been on that beach many a time! I hope you enjoyed driving on the Cornish roads. |
