A fun image. Is Clementine looking for the mouse? |

A great image - colours are wonderful. I like that you've not taken it from straight on - the angle gives it some dynamism. |

I agree with Eric. A nice image, but just needs something to make the birds stand out from the background. Wildlife photography is hard! |

Nice image - got to love a sunset!
I agree with the above comments - a little crop and maybe change the saturation etc. a little would work wonders. I've had a go - I'm sure you can do better than me though! |

Great portrait. Good eye contact. I like the composition - the inclusion of the music stand helps to set the scene I think. Choice of aperture is good too - the background is suitably softened so as not to be distracting. I like the slight motion-blur on the hands - makes it look natural. Exposure is perfect too I think - again, it looks natural, rather than a posed studio-type portrait.
I can't decide if the red band on the violinist's arm is distracting or part of the scene!
I would myself crop a little, and add a slight vignette, but that's maybe just me! |

The best bit: It's the best photo I've seen of such as small frog (or is it a giant acorn!)
Good things: The placing of the two subjects in the frame is fine - I like that the frog is aligned to the grain of the wooden deck. The exposure is good - and you've done well to tone down the bright reflections bottom-right
No-so-good things: The lighting is a bit harsh - although of course if you had waited for a cloud then the frog would have gone. The frog could be a little sharper, but I always find that focusing with camera-phones is difficult.
What could be improved: I'd clone out the black spot near the frog's nose.
Overall, a nice image. |
