Good call on the crop to emphasize that interesting line! I agree that the blue in the sky would look more dramatic with a little correction. And might this be where a circular polarizer would help boost up the blue? I'm not sure and need to practice more with mine. I think the greens and the orange-red are rich and beautiful. |

Paul, you make me nostalgic for Colorado. Is there anywhere else in the country where the aspen are so abundant and gorgeous? That dark contrast really highlights the layers and provides depth without any other objects to distract. Lovely! |

Wow! What an amazing shot! I am so glad you posted the original, thank you. That detail in the ring of water and/or atmosphere (?) in front of the larger waterfall is really interesting; maybe something the naked eye wouldn't have seen. Incredible color on the sky and detail all the way back to the horizon! Beautiful! |

This was taken at a great angle to lead your eye to the star of the shot. How fun and what a beauty! That blue and red really pop! |

Wow! What a majestic shot! The sky is such a beautiful blue, the clouds bouncing through giving more depth. Beautiful angles with diminishing lush greenery as you move through the photo. It is lovely! Like Ed, I thought maybe the shadows on the green brush in the left foreground were a little dark.
Were you using a filter? I've had a CPL and variable ND filter (which is maybe not the best options?) in my bag for a while now and am (sadly) just getting motivated to use them, especially for skies. I miss those big blue skies out West. |

Hello, Darcy! It was not taken with a tripod, and you're right--I could've widened out that aperture a stop or two from f8. Thank you! |
