Hi Quang. I'm offering an alternative. As you commented, there were many different crops available to you. My eye was initially drawn to the sailboarder and that defined the image for me. I offer an alternative crop that maintains the interest of geometric house patterns and the sense of location with the yachts on the shoreline. To my eye it feels puncher. |

Hi Charles. You have transformed a non-de image into a powerful and compelling B&W image. Like Quang I always feel more comfortable with action heading left to right and the other elements you introduced bought it alive. You have achieved a strong contrast from Black to White with a good range of grey tones, and the white sail on the boat really pops. Its now a great image. |

Hi Mark. Your composition is interesting and gives us a good birds eye view of the area. The image detail I was able to look at was very soft and most appeared out of focus. Applying a sharpening filter would assist in giving the detail some punch. Was it in focus and something has happened to it in processing or rendering for screen? |
