It was pitch Black, and we could only find our way with head torches. I take photos all through the day and night, Sunrise, Sunset, Astro and during the day.
The "blurry" black area to the left of the tree is a burnt out bush that would be left after a fire has been through. 		Nov 21st

It was pitch black, and I was using a head torch to find my way around. Your crop is a worthy alternative, but I prefer to have more "breathing room" around the tree. Sorry if my wording led you to understand that the tree was the subject of the image. It was just a leading actor on the stage.		 Nov 21st
