Hey Catherine. Your image has blown me away. I have never seen a baby gull, and I used to live at the Beach. I thought, like Pigeons, they were hatched full grown. I was wondering if like I tell my barber, you could take a little off the top and maybe it would focus more on the chick. it is just a thought. Did you take this with your "bird Lens"? |

Hey Ling Ling. This is a very nice image. I like what Shari did. All my lenses are wide angle so I don't really photograph birds. I wish I had more advice, but your image was very nice. |

hey Janice. I like what Mike did to your, really cool image. I think, either way, it is a nice Photograph. I wish you luck on your competition. Anyone who has been in this group for a while knows I like to break the rules. Although I have learned that the rule of thirds can be your friend. That is a story for another day. By the way, the gecko did a really good job of hiding. The background blur is perfect, in my opinion. How about, Best in Group, for February group 40. |

Hey Andrew, I like your image. I think the tree that is sort of hanging over the body of water at the middle to top right seems like maybe it fell over. Anyway, I was wondering if you removed it and let the viewer just enjoy all the waterfalls. I agree with Shari that maybe a different angle might change the look, but I have not idea what kind of angle would make it better. It really good as it is. |

Hey Sheri, Nice image. I was wondering if the white balance was warmed up a bit and some Texture and Clarity was added it the flowers would sort of pop more. Also the wood had nice character and adding some texture might bring it out. Overall, very nice and nice job of editing. |

Hey Sanat, this is a really interesting image. I looked at it for some time, just soaking up what was going on. Is this something that happens a lot, or only on special occasions? I understand Brian's point, but feel his crop takes all the excitment out of the image. I was wondering if there was too much sky, and it a sort of panorama format would add more excitement. like being at a music festival, it is interesting to see how many people are there. Thanks for sharing. |

Hey Mark. Very nice fall image. I am impressed that you did not do any editing. I was wondering if anyone's eyes went right to the white at the bottom of the bridge by the rails. I am not sure if burning the white would deemphasize it or not. Either way, nice image, as shot. |

Hey Charles. I really like your image that I would call a "Layer Cake". It starts at the bottom and just builds one layer on the next. I was wondering if the sky was somewhere between the original and your edit if the image would look even more "dreamy". Just a thought. Nice Image. |

Hey Quang. Your technique for this image was genius. It took me a second to understand what you were doing because I was looking at the image on my phone. the bokeh effect with the lights was, really cool. You have inspired me to try this technique in the future. I was wondering if the secret to this great shot was shooting at f/2.8, as well as manual focus. Did you use a tripod (I know some churches do not allow tripods) |
