hey Janice. I love your image. I think the crop is up to you. I do think that since two group members commented on crops, I would post one that was cropped. your image is great. I like your crop better than mine

Hey Catherine, well you certainly got my attention. I have admired your abstract images in the past and I fee the only reason a person would take a reflection of a building is to be abstract. Good cross section of different colors. I decide to try to bring out some of the colors that are already there. I did not change any color settings. I opened the image in Nik Color Efex and did some tonal mapping. The image you submitted, in my opinion, looked a little flat. I did not really do anything that was not there. I did not add or take out anything. Nice shot. |

Hey Julie, I like the composition of you image. I would change that with a crop. I did feel it needed a little DeNoise filter and I changed the temp. just a little and added texture and to make the water look wetter, some Clarity. I used a little vignette and some Vibrance, which I don't usually use. I found the rope going from the bow sort of distracting so I removed it. That one was a judgment call that later in the month I might have added back in. There is nothing wrong with your image, I just tried a few different things. Nice Image. |

Hey Andrew, I like your street photography. You mentioned a different crop, so I tried one. The light poles by the subjects seemed a little off, so I straightened them. I am not sure if the crop works, but it seems the subjects are more emphasized. Not sure what a PJ is, but if it is a contest, I don't what rules might apply. your edit was great as usual, however I did take a little shine off the gentleman's head and his beard. Might be too subtle to notice. As far as street photography goes, this was a great example. |

Hey Charles, Wow, this is on my bucket list. I agree with Mark. I also added a little texture to the actual mountain side. Then I thought the extra texture sort of held me captive in the middle of the image. You got the right amount of greenery, in my opinion. Those clouds are good luck, or good planning. Nice. |

Hey Quang, This image really speaks to me. It talks about one of the darkest periods in American history. I have visited many Battlefields, and am sort of a Civil War Buff. The image was captured at the perfect time of day, and it seems like something you would see on the cover of a Civil War book. I agree with everyone above. Nice image. |
