Hey Andrew, I liked your shot. I made it more a pano and did some sharpening and texture. Your stuff is always spot-on. Just my crazy texture fetish. |

Great Post production. way over my head, but I just got a new Mac and the first update of Photoshop in over three years. I have some learning to do. I really like the image. Even though it looks like it may not have worked, I sharpened the subject (flower) and added some texture and it made the plant sharper but it looks like it was pasted in to the background. posted my take because I wanted you to see what sharpening and texture did. Back to the drawing board for me. |

Hey Ling Ling, I really like your image. I have never tried this. I have a hard enough time keeping my camera still. I like the colors and do not really know what I would do, so I did not even open your shot. I would check the box next to intentional camera shake and move on. I may play around with this later. |

Okay, I love this image. yes it is a good example of negative space. I see Andrews point but I see a good contrast between the two. I tried some different things but did not get anywhere. look at my take and see if you notice any real difference. |

Hey Catherine, I really like your image. I thought I would take some liberties and have it a lone frozen flower. I also changed it to black and white in Silver Efex, although I think I like the colors in the snow better. I sort of made it off center and sharpened it. You are a really great photographer, but you should take the time to change your settings when you start shooting something new. Just a thought. I think a slower shutter speed may have been interesting, but I don't know. I think what I am missing here is an emotion like... loneliness, or isolation. Just a thought. |
