Hey Henry, My editing of your image was very slight. your image was great. I notice a lot of images on the PSA site just need a little "infusion", but that is only my opinion. I would love for you to visit our area. I am sure there is a lot I could learn from you. I visited Andrew when I was in England and I will never forget our visit. Anyone in the group is welcome to let me know if you ever get out "West". |

Okay Henry, I opened the image in Adobe Camera Raw and did all my magic and It looks a little brighter. The sky is a little bluer and all I did was take a great image and add some texture and Vibrance. In the future I will not let you get away with anything. My treatment of your work is always done with love and respect. you are a very good photgrapher. Oh, I made your head swell again. Sorry |

Hey Janice, I liked Julie's idea but want to make sure you use like a masking tool to only mask that area. Also I tried it with Highlights and could not apply enough for my taste, so I tried things like Dehaze, so, while you have a mask open (on a copy of your image) try some different things. I showed your image to some photography friends of mine and they could not stop saying "wow!". But, a contest judge, might not see it that way. I tried the dodge and burn tool and it just made things muddy. Careful. |

Hey Ling Ling I tried doing some dodge and burn tool magic on your image but did not have much luck. As far as saving the image under the limit, There is a good way and I will talk to Andrew and maybe we should have a small class on this. I think it has to do with exporting the image instead as saving it at a lower image pixel. Maybe everyone is doing is the best way and I am just out of the loop. I know it can be frustrating. Nice image overall. I don't shoot wildlife because I don't have a good lens and so many photgraphers are very passionate about it. Keep clicking away. |

Hey Henry. Nice shot. I can not think of anything I would do to change it. Thanks for sharing. |

Wow Andrew, this image has a little of everything. I like the green, it sort of looks tarnished and adds a nice contrast. I my opinion it was cropped perfectly and I can not think of a thing I would change. Except, I wish I would have taken it. Thanks Andrew. |

Hey Catherine, I am a great fan of your abstract stuff. I know it is a boat, and I know it looks like a boat, but to me it has the qualities of an abstract painting. I decided to punch it up a bit. your image has a very subtle harbor feel and I like it just like it was. I imagined it if it had been painted. With maybe watercolors. you know me, I like to push things. Not everyone does, so your image is great like it is. Thanks for sharing and it's good to have you back. |

Hey Julie, I love your image. It is the kind of stuff that i like to shoot. I must admit, as with a lot of my shots, you do not know it is an interior of a building until the artist tells you. I have not been to this station so I do not know if the surfaces are smooth, as you have made them look, or have some texture. So, I opened your original and did not crop as tight and I added my texture, clarity and dehaze, and it started to have imperfections. I am not suggesting this is how the image should look, just my take on it. The black ribbon seemed to have some railing on it, so I kind of left it alone. I also added a film filter (I seem to be stuck on it). but did not add a DeNoise filter (just forgot). So Your image is really good and I really like it. |

Janice, this is amazing. I can not believe you took this from a Kayak. This is amazingly sharp and the depth of field is perfect. Now I am posting this ealy in the month because I do not want anyone talking you in to changing the color of the water. In my opinion, it gives a great balance and it also is the way the water looked. The blue on the bird and the brown in the water is perfect and if you changed the water the bird would not stand out as much. You should enter this in as many competitions as you can. Also check with tourist and nature publications to see if they could use it. Wow, I am amazed. This is why I don't photograph wildlife, or play the guitar. |
