Hey Andrew, I have said a million times I do not like rules. I think the tree in the middle of the image sort of makes it more of the subject then the open space. I was sort of going for a rule of thirds thing with my edit. I know everyone wanted so much to take out the little hill on the left. To me it gives the image a hint of what may be waiting just outside the open space. What do I know, I shoot buildings. If this was a watercolor, I would probably hang it in my family room. Hey Ling Ling, I love your minimalist approach to the image. I guess the sky really makes a difference. With all the AI Stuff going on, I am glad you did not add a Unicorn (joke) I darkened the sky and added my standard adjustments and cropped a light on the right to give he image a sort of "Rule of Thirds" feel. I do not like rules. anyway, your really captured the scene. Great Job. |

Hey Janice. I really like your image. I can feel the wind and the sun on the horses. I cropped a little tighter on the right and cropped the sky to give more emphasis on the water. I agree that your original crop was a good idea. thanks for sharing |

Hey Andrew, Nice shot. I thought the only thing that could possibly change the look was to sharpen the Deer and soften the background. you have good depth of field so I did not really improve anything. Nice. |

Hey Catherine, I really like the fog also. I think, maybe the white balance was a little off, but when I adjusted it, I lost some of the fog. I did crop a little to focus on the fence. I added a little texture and then put it through the denoise plugin. I really liked your version except the sort of blue haze. I really like how you seem to try different things. Thanks for sharing. |
