40 May 24 Reply Hey Henry, thanks for your comment. I love Herb Kane and used to read his stuff and listen to it daily. Thanks again. May 25th
40 May 24 Reply Hey Henry, cool website. I love the pastel treatments. I would love to take the old car workshop. Thanks for the heads up I will be visiting that website more. May 24th
40 May 24 Reply Hey Julie, I thought my photography only disturbed my wife (just a joke). The bridge is a suspension bridge and has a natural arch to it. You may be right about the image not being straight but the coast is so foggy I am not sure. I will try taking out the bridge but I like the water sharp. I am glad you liked the panorama treatment. Because the images you submit to PSA are always so varied, I really value your comments. If you have a online portfolio I would really like to see it. Thanks again.

40 May 24 Reply Hey Janice, I see what you mean. I did clone out two or three boats that were really distracting and that may be what you are seeing. Not sure. The sharpness of the water was the contrast I was looking for, but I am not sure everyone felt that was a good idea. Thank you for your nice comments May 24th
40 May 24 Reply Hey Catherine, I like your idea and will give it a try. Thanks! May 24th
40 May 24 Reply Hey Andrew, thanks for the kind words. There are a lot of things that can be done with this image and I have gotten some great suggestions. Thanks again. May 24th
40 May 24 Reply Hey Ling Ling, thanks for the kind words. May 24th
40 May 24 Comment Hey Henry, I have always liked your flower shots. You asked what i would do, and I though I would make the background softer. I have used Photoshop filters in the past and the Neural Filters offer a lot of cool options. Just my thoght about someting different. You are the flower whisperer. May 17th
40 May 24 Comment Hey Janice, all I can say is... Nice! good job. I wish I was lucky enough to be in a good place to see it. Again... Nice. May 17th
40 May 24 Comment Hey Ling Ling, What I love about your images is that a lot of them seem to be unstuck in time. There is nothing in the shot to show how long ago, or how recent it was taken. so I tightened it up a bit and then applied my two favorite Photoshop filters: Texture and Clarity. I then applied a DeNoise filter. I wanted to make it look like an old picture or painting. Your images are nice and you seem to travel alot. Nice records of your travels. May 17th
40 May 24 Comment Hey Catherine, I love your shot. So, I agree with Ling Ling, maybe you can get too much of a good thing. So I did a crop to show enough water to show where it goes, and I did not change any of your great editing, but I did run it through my favorite DeNoise program. May 17th
40 May 24 Comment Hey Andrew, as a big fan of street photography, I really liked this image. I think it seems to tell several different stories and maybe just... what happens at the fair. As always, you image is sharp and colorful. I can't think of anything you left out. As with many street photography type images, you have to spend some time really looking at the scene. Great job Andrew. May 1st

74 May 24 Comment Hey Haru, Nice Image. I like the format and I like what you did with it. I liked Trevor's idea and I played around with the crop and ended up thinking yours is fine. I did feel the background was a little dark and so I backed off the contrast. It's just my opinion. What makes this image work is that you have a great eye for seeing things and this proves it. Nice image. May 1st

99 May 24 Comment Hey Kathleen, I love these old cathedrals. Your composition here is very nice and the image seems to have a sort of Sepia feel to it. I don't think I would change any of your settings. I did take out some items that I felt was distraction the viewer from really enjoying and loving this image. I took out some hot spots from lights and also took out some things that looked like an electrical box, and I took out some things that back in my film days I would have called dust spots. I think your take on this has a very gothic feeling. Thanks for sharing this with us. May 1st
