Hey Janice. I went to a prairie dog exhibit somewhere and they had a little bubble in the middle of the exhibit and you could go through a tunnel and pop you head up and be in the middle of the group of prairie dogs. It was fun. I like your depth of field, but the little doggie wants to blend in to the background. I opened it in Adobe Camera Raw and added some contrast and then my big three: Texture, Clarity, and Dehaze. I did not put it through my topaz denoise plugin because the doggie was very sharp. I think there is now a little more seperation between the two. Nice job. I also clonned out some of the black blurred items. Just subtle little things. Thanks for sharing. |

Hey Catherine, I like your image a lot. It is what I call an Antiquescape. The soft blue color of the house is reall peaceful and I like the browns. I did think it needed a little straightening and some cropping of some of the side and top items (only my opinion). I like the color version, although I would punch up the texture and clarity, and sharpen it in something like Topez deNoise, if you have something. Some of our members will wonder what it looks like in black and white, so I did one for you. I like the color image better. Nice shot. Thanks Catherine. |

Hey Andrew, interesting image. I think it is great how you can see this, and capture it, when as we can see, these people are moving and soon will be gone. When I look at an image that is posted, I like to look at it like I am in an art gallery. There is no one there to explain what different thing are, or what sort of mood the photographer is trying to set. In the case of your image, I did not know what the line was until I read your comments. I thought at first it was a curb. In my opinion, it took away from the awsome shadows your captured, so I took it out. It's just my take. I also gave the ground more texture in Silver efex pro. Your shadows are superb. Thanks Andrew. |

Hey Julie, looks like you tapped into my passion this month (architectural photography). I love what you did with the crop. I tried some other options but I think you nailed it. Your tones are very true to what the building looks like (in my opinion). I get a sort of pleasent feeling when I look at your image. I was wondering what a more stark feel would look so I opened your image in Silver Efex Pro for some harsh structure. I then applied a Luminosity Layer Mask and set the opacity to 40%. This is just how I would have edited this. Your image as you submitted it, to me feels more like your style (from other images of yours I have seen). I hope you did not mind me playing around with this. I love your shot and as Andrew says, it's one for the wall. You have a good eye. Thaks for sharing Julie. |

Hey Haru, Your image is not boring. matter of fact, there seems to be a light on the cliff, or mountain in the background. In my opinion, it just needs to pop a little more. You may not want it to pop, so, just my take. Thanks Haru, as usual, a great shot. |
