I do like Jose's crop but I almost always put a boarder on there as well as my signature. If I were to make multiple prints for something different I would then probably take off the boarder. I've just never been one to put a signature on the actual photo. Thank you for the feedback though. |

I am personally not a fan of sepia toning, but then again, that's just me. The composition is wonderful. I completely agree the space around the subject should be explored as it is part of the story (except maybe in portrait photos). I love watching the minds of young children work as they explore and figure things out. She is a beautiful little girl and I am sure you are a very proud grandpa! |

I think you did a great job getting this photo into B/W! All the details appear to be sharp and you lost nothing in the composition. Beautiful work! |

I love how the road just kind of disappears along the bottom. Makes me wonder where it goes and engages my mind a bit. For me, the shadows and dark drown out the features of the mountains. I did a little edit in LR to bring out the features a little. Iceland is still a place on my bucket-list and hope to get there one day.

Having lived in Costa Rica, I know the difficulties of trying to get a good photo in the harsh sunlight. You have captured the emotions of the people in a way that tells a sorrowful story. All in all, great shot! |
