Thanks Lynne you might be on the same wave length as me. I looked at the flowers before I set them up and felt they were sad for being cut and taken indoors. So I tried that angle with them and I liked it. |

I will remember that for next time. I don't often add borders as most of my work is edited for competitions.I think the curves I have added in the black and white have made the shadows deeper in the stems and could be fixed up with a mask.

I like the leading lines and shapes running through and the black and white definitely bring those out and add more character. |

I like the curved spanners too they have so much character. The black and white suits it too.

Thank you Michael, I hadn't really thought about the black on black but I will rectify in future images. I normally put them onto white with my logo for instagram. |
