That would look good, I sometimes put borders around my images. I will have a try and see what it looks like. |

I really like the way you have edited this image, it suits the subject and era. Old steam trains are fun to take creative pics of. |

It almost looks like a fine art etched print.I like the artistic feel, but as a photo I find it a bit lost in the flower area.Still a nice creative image though. |

Hi Diana I really like the surreal feel to this image and it almost looks like a pencil or ink architectural drawing.It definitely suits black and white. |

I have attached the original which is in color and unedited. In PS I have adjusted curves and levels which is what I would only do in BW unless it needs dodging and burning.I have used an exposure software filter to give it a slight tweak and pulled the opacity back. My settings were studio flash (elinchrom) ISO 125 F/10 and a Canon 100mm macro 2.8 on Canon 5D MK III. Flash settings not sure I change them to suit needs and honestly don't do my lighting by the book. I am more a hands on than precise measuring and messing around ;) |
