I also like the fuller view with the farm land but your version has a lot of whimsy to it. Quite creative and an interesting study. Good job! |

I like the way you left the lower right corner without the snow. Personally, I think I would like to see a tighter crop from the left. Nice capture though. |

Personally-I like the original. The sky you have is more purple than the blue of the original and, to me, the coloring on the buildings is too bright and out of place with the sky. |

I agree with Peggy especially on the crop. To me, I'd like to see a little more area for the horse to move into and some way to include a few of the cowboys in the background. Nice capture on the action! |

I'm going to agree with Joe about the "mask". It looks to me like a "thumbs up" from the pilot but it's confusing. Interesting image though. |

You've done a nice job of bringing out the front that were so dark. I sort of wish there were a few clouds in the sky but then that might take away from the building itself. |

Thanks Nadia. I rather lean toward the black backgrounds for the flowers - maybe too much. Guess everyone has their preferences. I was trying to be more like you. :) |

Really no need for a stroke since the image is basically white against black. :) |

This is what I did with the image originally but wanted to try a different background. |

Thanks Ingrid. Maybe it's because I'm left-handed but I rather like the curve from left to right and down but I'll give reversing it a try and see what happens. |

Thanks Nadia. I will give it a try. You always have nice backgrounds. |

Thanks Bob. The background is just Gaussian Blur so it is t he white car that created the light spot. |

Thanks Rich. I sort of agree with Doug about making the tulips brighter. The halo seems to be coming from the background. |

Thanks Doug. I just used the Gaussian Blur filter which created the light area around the tulip. Not sure what you mean by the "red blush". |

Nice! Perhaps a little more depth of field would help the out of focus parts - like the stem and leaf and perhaps the top of the bud as well? Good job though. |

Stark-just like winter. The vertical tree and the layers of the snow make a nice contrast. I didn't notice the small branch on the right until you mentioned it and then I was going back and forth between the two. For that reason, I would vote to remove it. |

I'm not sure what you did with the final but it appears to be inverted from the original. I like the position of the original better. Also I find the coloring of the final to be rather strong. The original has such a nice delicate pale color and the center is quite detailed. That seems to be lost in the final. I also feel the background could be blurred out more and perhaps cropped? |

This might sound funny but I think the original, being darker (very slightly), seems to be more "dying". Any of your leaves have been excellent. I would like to see a stroke (very thin) in darkish brown to set the image off the black background. |

Beautiful! I always admire your backgrounds. I'm wondering if the empty space on the left is needed. It does offset the flower from center though. |

The background is perfect. I would like to see the stem of the flower to kind of anchor it. Also there is a dark spot between the bottom petal and the left petal. Otherwise it's a very nice image. |
