Here is what the stroke is. I left some black to simulate the black background of the posted image since I think it would show up on the gray here if I didn't.
You will have to click on the image to see the stroke as it is very thin. |

A stroke is a border. I don't know if you can do that in LR. In PS, it's in the Edit menu. |

It's an interesting concept. For me though, I find the papers distracting. Wonder what it would look like with one solid color - maybe blue? (I'm still looking for the fish :)) |

Well done! I agree with Jerry about the stroke. Slight stroke might set it off more. |

Very nice. I like the ethereal feeling of the image and the coloring is good too - like they are floating on a cloud. |

Loose interpretation of circles I guess. Perhaps just taking one headlight out of the image? While the category was "circles", I wouldn't necessarily need to be more than one. |

I like the blue in the final but also the plastic wrap B/W version as well. Definitely circles. Like with Peggy's image, perhaps a little vignette to draw my eyes toward the center? |

I like what you've done with this. The colors are vibrant and there are definitely circles. I wonder if a little vignette would force the eye more toward the center? |

I know you do beautiful backgrounds. In my head, I was thinking you would photograph the stem and then remove it from any background. Then do the adjustments that would make it look like it fits into the picture and move it into place.
Will look forward to seeing the updated image if you decide to do it. |

I like this version but would like to see the center brightened like Rich's final image. |

I do agree with Bob though - it is a beautiful flower and your textures are always impeccable. |

Why couldn't a stem be added to the final here? Not sure why you would have to start over. |

Perhaps reducing the size and coloring on the reflection would work. I might play around with it to see. Thanks. |

After reading the comments I see the reflection could have been toned down. Thanks for the comment. |

Maybe photo a stem and add it on? :) Anyway, it's still very pretty. |

Both images are quite nice. I like the way you created the center of the final and gave it some highlights as well. Good job!

Interesting image. For me, I feel the left side kind of competes with the right side in that the right grasses bend so gracefully and the left is sort of clumped together. |

The Dahlia is very nice. I wish the background was more blurred out instead of competing with the flower. Maybe toning it down a little as well? |

My apologies but this one seems like a "record shot". To me, I'd like to see the large leaf in the back more blurred as it seems to over take the smaller one. Perhaps isolating the main subject and removing the other portion? |

I always love your backgrounds and this is no exception. Very nice. My only thought is that the flower seems to be floating in the air. I looked at the original and there really isn't a stem showing though I would have liked to see one. |

It's a nice image. I like the softness of the background and the colors. My feeling is that the little bud on the lower left could be removed. With the orange coloring, it detracts my eye away from the main flower. |
