Nice capture. I tried to add a basket just for kicks. |

I agree with Al - I'd like to see a little more light on the hills in the background. I like the composition. To crop down the sky would make it centered - but might work. Overall it's a very nice image. |

The color and composition is good and yes, perhaps a wider shot but you take what you can get when you travel. I know you don't have a lot of time to work on this but I would like to see some transform used to straighten up the building as it appears to be leaning. |

Very stylistic. Would make a nice poster. You selected the cactus well. I kind of agree with Jerry about whether it is a "night shot". |

Excellent capture - very striking (if I can say that...LOL).
My only comment, and I'm in a picky mood, is that I like the coloring on the original for the sky. This one appears to be in B&W and original seems more natural. |

Well done. I'm going to disagree with the cropping idea as I like the clouds. My eye goes toward that purple light on the right which seems to be not as bright in the original and perhaps could be toned down here? I like the enhancement of the light on the bridge but for me, the lights in the water are a little more distracting. Picky comments on a nice image. |

I can see where you all are commenting about the tips - in various positions. My only defense is that all the sides are cut off. :) |

Great job! The background blurred out nicely and the inside comes out sharp. Polar is a great filter to play with as is the Twirl and Radial Blur. Keep experimenting. |

Beautiful! Where on Lake Michigan?
I like the way you've removed the right side of the original and the detailing you have in the flowers. Great job. |

I feel it's a good attempt at getting a shot that was probably difficult to capture. I realize you can't just ask a bird to pose for you. I wish more of the bird's head was showing.
Also, for me, my eye goes back and forth between the flower and the buds on the branch above. I think perhaps a tighter crop would be better.
I am a little surprised at the halo effects I see in the image. The 23 usually takes pretty clean pictures but it could be the time of day. |

The flower itself is very nice. I agree with Bob on the sizing of the originals. Not sure how they even got posted. I find the out of focus leaves to be a distraction and I also like the blue original the best. Perhaps an experiment with two white ones on the bottom and a blue one on top and just use the flowers? Good work on the background of this one. |

I like what you've done with the bud. The original seems to have focus only in the center area while the final takes care of that. I like to see strokes or light borders on images. My only comment on this one is that it has uneven darkness - especially in the lower left corner. That heavier black like distracts me somewhat. Overall, very nice image. |

Thanks Bob. As you can see in the original, the dumb photographer cropped it while taking the image. :) I was hurrying to get ready for my trip and didn't think of adding on to it. |

I like how the light and twirls bring me to the center of the image. The edges kind of bothered me as they touch but as all three are consistent, it's not so bad. Very interesting and nice use of abstract here. |
