The first thing I notice is the out of focus bud on the top. Perhaps making a copy of one of the others that are in focus and replacing it? Somehow your original seems to have more detail and the final less. I hope I have the images in the correct places. I would like to see a little more color and definition in the center of the flower. It is a striking flower and might look good just with the white flower on a black background. It's a good capture though. |

I'm going to agree with all the above. The red makes me look away from the main flowers. However, on a second and third look, I also think it adds the 3rd element to the flower grouping and helps to take away the back and forth of the 2 flowers. I do think it looks more like an art poster than a photograph but then that seems to be your style. Overall it's nicely done based on the original. |

I'm going to take exception to the glow...sorry. I think the area around the houses could be toned down some because my eye goes right to the center and I don't feel that's the focus of the image. I do like the sharpness in the houses however. I feel there is enough blurring in the water that waves aren't needed - and it might destroy the effect. I wonder what it would be like if the shoreline or the original was lightened a little to bring out the houses but leave the fireworks and water the way of the original? |

I like what you've done with the background and how the flowers have so much more detail. Like Joe's image, I think it's a little too close to the bottom edge. The very bottom of the vase sort of fades away also. Otherwise, great job! |

I like what you've done here with Topaz and with tilting the flower. To be picky, I'm going to borrow from your comments at times and say I would like to see it flipped and it comes real close to the bottom border. |

I agree with both Peggy and Jerry. It's a nice peaceful view of the coneflowers. To be picky, maybe a little vignetting especially at the bottom? Would it draw the view into the flowers more? |

Strokes, strokes, strokes! Yes, this needs some sort of border even if it's just a thin line. The image is stunning. The detail that is shown is very good. Nice job! |

Very nice image. I like the composition and also the way the focus fades away with each blossom. The first one is sharp, the second not so sharp and the back one out of focus. Linda's version with toning down the highlights makes it even monochromatic. |

Stunning image. Love the little "picture in picture" of the dew drops. I agree with Shirley about the single row of Linda's. Very nice - both of you. |

Great capture. I'm thinking the sac is the collection of nectar? To be picky - there is a little white speck to the left of the bee otherwise very nice. |

It's a stunning B/W rendition. I agree with David that the lower portion is a little dark. I did some dodging of that area to get a little more light. Also, I feel a light stroke would keep the eye inside the frame. |
