Both are interesting. I'm going to play around with some of the filters now. :) |

It's kind of hard to comment on a procedure that is unknown. Having the information would have made my comment different...perhaps. 😀 |

I did that based on Kaylyn's comment. :) |

I like the way you turned it from summer colors to fall and the line of the wall. I did a quick attempt at removing those trees with just cloning. I think it would be better to mask out the urns and wall and then work on the background separately but that's another project. Nice work. |

It is fun. I like that you tried something different. The red and green go together but I'm not sure I like the rocket sooo green. For some reason, the bottom seems to have a lot of detail but the rocket loses some toward the top. Also there are parts on the right that don't connect. Nice work though. |

Interesting find. I see what Jerry is saying about the final. I think the original better tells the light shining on the fender. It's a little too gritty for my taste - over-sharpened? The top portion above the fender does work well with the gritty look. |

Personally I like the original best. In the final - I'm not a fan of the red, blue and green dots in the outer portions of the flower. Also I think the edges could be a little thinner? I am awaiting the unveiling too! |

It's hard to get everyone in focus in a shot like this. In this case, I would like to have seen the front lambs sharp and fading off in the background. The rock in the front is quite soft. Perhaps a higher F-stop and lower shutter? Anyway, it's a cute picture of the little guys. |

Beautiful. Love the way you brought out the reflections. Haven't been to the Smokies in years but it is a beautiful place, no matter what season. I wonder if that red leaf or whatever in the center could be toned down a little? |

It was kind of intended to be over processed I guess. I think for softness and "reality", Linda's version is better. |

Topaz Detail is gone now. I think it's part of Studio or Topaz Adjust or Sharpen AI. |

After looking at Linda's rework - I wonder about going half way with it. Somehow your version does seem a little dark but then it appears to be more like sunlight. The stark white is striking also and perhaps closer to the flowers actual colors. Either version is a winner. |

Like the other comments, I like the contrast of the roses and the greens. The bottom gets a little tight but without the original, it's hard to tell if it was shot that way or cropped. It isn't touching though so it seems okay to me. Nice work. |

Very nice. I like the softness you achieved with this. When I look at Linda's rework, the image does look a little static. I like the way she positioned the flower and I agree - more dynamic. |

It's a pretty image. I'm kind of torn on this one. When I look at it, it seems to be overdone - yet the crystals show up so well. On Linda's rework, I see the frostiness but it seems too soft. Is there a way you can tone down the frost details around the top edges without losing much of the sharpness? I'd also like to see you remove the light spots on the right side edge - either by cropping or cloning or burning. |

Love your rendition. It's got lots of detail and "punch". |

I agree with David - this is a great final image. It really shows what you can do when you look at an image and see some potential in a part of it. Not every "cull" is a throw away. |

I agree with David about the yellow. The original seems pretty white while the final is more yellow. I'm not familiar with the flower to know if the true color is white or yellow. I was thinking perhaps the flash made it whiter and that's why you brought out the yellow. It's a striking image though. Nice work. |
