True - you have a point there. |

To me, the mountains are okay. The smaller one seems pretty straight and the bigger ones aren't going to be level due to their size. The moose was sort of on an incline. |

I agree with both Joe and Kaylyn. Great shot but too close a crop. |

I may be the only dissenting voice here but I like the vertical format. It gives me a sense of depth that I don't see in the horizontal. If I were hanging it on my wall, I would choose the vertical. |

He was probably 30-40 feet away. He does look a little dark on my monitor too. |

While the background might be distracting, I feel the image conveys the wildness of the animal. Love the tongue sticking out. The cropping is good too. Personally, I think you are making your images a little too painting-like or over-sharpened. In some cases it has worked very well but in this case I think a little burning in of the background might work and leaving the elk as he was would be better? |

I feel that while this does make the butterfly "pop", there is a halo around the edges and stem which indicates over sharpening to me. |

I rather like the original. The dolphin doesn't appear as "static" since he is angling toward the man. Also I like the deeper colors in the original. |

Thanks Al. I like the way you brought out the details in the moose's coat but the other areas appear to me to be over sharpened. Might work for printing but I feel a little to much for digital. |

I agree with Mike! Great work! It is a very unique image. I also agree about the crop. On the bottom, the original seems to have some detail in the snow that I would like to see in the final. |
