22 Jun 21 Reply Looking on Ebay, I see one that looks like it for $230 and the data plate says it was 1927. Jun 25th
22 Jun 21 Reply Very nice, Al! Thanks for the re-work. Jun 22nd
22 Jun 21 Reply Thanks Bruce. I wish the day had been better for our trip or that I could get back out there...maybe someday. Jun 9th
22 Jun 21 Reply I agree, Mike. The rule-of-thirds doesn't always apply and I like the image as it is as well. Jun 9th
22 Jun 21 Reply This didn't have the purple-ish cast in Photoshop but seems to have it here. Not sure why. Jun 8th
22 Jun 21 Reply There was a little white portion of the holder from the phone wires on the roof. I do see the halo though...thanks, I hadn't noticed that. Jun 7th
22 Jun 21 Reply Good catch! I thought something seemed different. :) Jun 5th
22 Jun 21 Comment My first thought is that the sewing machine was a little overdone with the gritty aspect - but then I'm thinking that is the actual texture of the machine. Good capture and nice work on the lighting. This one tells a story. Jun 5th
22 Jun 21 Comment I like the treatment of the wood though perhaps the upper left where the chain is could be a little lighter. You did a great job in putting this together. The only thing that bothers me is the upper left side where the blue pipe or something is. Good work though. Jun 5th

22 Jun 21 Comment I'm torn between liking the centering of the wheel and the composition of the original where it is off-center and shows more of the dashboard. It's nice and sharp on the wheel and the dashboard just blurred enough to make the wheel stand out. Jun 5th
22 Jun 21 Comment I was debating on whether the water could be cropped down - which would bring it a little more off-center. I think I like the amount of water though. You've brought out the texture in the wood and the colors in the trees very well. Nice work. Jun 5th
22 Jun 21 Comment Rework with the suggested corrections. Did I get them all? Jun 5th
22 Jun 21 Reply I agree - I would crop or remove the one on the left but leave the fence posts on the right. Jun 4th
22 Jun 21 Reply Thanks. If you are speaking of the white off the roof, I've tried to get rid of it and nothing seemed to work. I'll see if there is something else I can do. Jun 4th
22 Jun 21 Comment I agree with Jerry especially about the drift. To me, leaving the fence line in the image makes me look there instead of the drift. I would like to see it left there. Good job. Jun 1st

59 Jun 21 Comment I'm in agreement with Hans-Werner on this one. While a nice action shot, it doesn't strike me as a strong competition image. Good luck with the competition! Jun 9th
59 Jun 21 Comment I agree - good action and nice background. To be very picky, I find the text to be a little close to the subject - especially the left foot. Perhaps a little more canvas move the text away from the boy? Good work though. Jun 9th
59 Jun 21 Comment I like the action shown in this image. Very nice capture. I find the other vaulter distracts me as I tend to look back and forth between the two. I'd also like to see a stroke around the image as the black background merges with the black of the page. Jun 9th
