I knew that would be an issue and tried to see what I could do with it. It's actually cut off by the garage roof. |

When we chose this topic I thought we said no sunsets but it is a "night shot" and a very nice one. Love the sky and clouds and the men in the boat add to the scene. I see just enough colors in the foreground and background to be probably what the eye was seeing. Good job. |

It's difficult for me to get good moon shots as well. Do you use a cable release or electronic? If using a cable, try setting it on timer and then let go of the release. When I press the release it will trigger some movement. My 80D now has a wireless remote so I wouldn't have that same problem.
I tried giving it a little boost of clarity and adjusting the whites and blacks. I also offset it a little and gave it a stroke. |

I like the coloring and the pattern of the floor. Also the way it leads to the back where the white light comes through. My eye is drawn to that portion.
I think Al might be correct about cropping out some of the wall. Did you use Content Aware or Clone to remove that piece on the left wall? Seems the coloring isn't quite right. Overall it's an appealing image to me. |

Great color and nice job with brightening the other balloon. I am going to disagree about the slant. For me, I'd like to see it straight although the figures in the foreground appear to be straight. Hard to call. |

Very creative. I like the way you have the ghost a little off-center and adding the stroke lets me know that. Nice job. |

I like the monochrome rendering. The details are very good. I wasn't sure if the sky could be darker to make it more "night-like". I probably should have added in a little more sepia.
I think the B/W is more appealing than the color - especially as an art deco look. |

Nicely done. I agree with Bob on the side lighting. Might be more interesting to see the other side with the date on it? |

I love flowers and this is a nice one. I agree about the definition so I did a little work on the contrast, texture and clarity in PS. |

When I first looked at this one, I wasn't sure I liked the drop as it seemed out of focus. However, studying it, it does appear to be in motion. The fact that the pine cone isn't sharp at the left doesn't bother me as it takes me down to the sharper places and then to the droplet. Really nice work! |

I agree with Cindy's version. The foreground is too prominent and out of focus. It's really not needed for the impact of the image. This is more of what I expected from a "close-up" image. Nice job. |

Very nice - it's sharp, well detailed and the background is good. At first I thought perhaps the background could be toned down a little in the middle but I think it actually accentuates the thistle flower. Good image. |

Love the texture in the bark and the coloring of the leaves. I would like to see the lower leaf removed as it is only a partial leaf and, to me, distracts my view from the other leaves. If this is not in a nature competition, I might try to plug up the holes where the leaves have been eaten away. Sorry - I sometimes get real picky. :) It's a good image. |

I like the center of the image. Perhaps cropping some of the green portions on the edge to center more on the yellow center? I agree the dark purplish portions on the left could be removed. Nice job though. |
