Right now, as I write this, I'm viewing the image on my laptop instead of my desktop and it appears slightly over saturated instead of over saturated...and I just calibrated my desktop monitors. Hmmm. Anyway - I agree with Beverly - wish I was back there. :) |

I'm torn between the two images. I kind of like removing the big dead tree but on the other hand, it seems to add a more natural feel to the scene. Great job (both of you). |

I agree with Al about the sharpness of the ATV and like his rendition of sharpening.
Joe - I like your use of the watercolor paper effect. I also like the sharpness in your redo. Could you put that on the watercolor paper? :) |

I was going to comment on the bringing out the details in the ATV as well. I'm not sure I like the texture used but it is interesting and the details are brought out nicely. |

I think it's a little too harsh in the detailing especially around the windmill and the skyline. However I love the coloring you gave it. Very nice. |

Nice capture. It does show the desolation. I like the composition with the windmill on the left and the desolate expanse in the other 3/4 of the image.
In the original, I see some clouds so I tried to bring them out and not crop as much. I felt the clouds added to the expanse of the scene. I think it's too blue though, so since sunset, I probably should have checked the color on the gradient I used.

Very nice - I like the fog. I agree with Joe about the top crop but I think the right side is okay.
I kind of liked the mood in the original so I took a stab at a different view by bringing in the dark sky and making the foreground flowers lighter. I liked all of the buildings so I didn't crop it except from the top. It might be too dark though. Still like yours better. :) |

I agree-it's a beautiful shot. I also agree with Peggy about the cropping and Jerry with the banding in the sky.
I feel the original is good as it is - perhaps darkening Mt. Moran some. Overall I think it is too saturated and too "detailed". Some fine detailing on Mt. Moran on the original and you have a great shot. |

It does tell the story. I see a little halo around the tree but I like the capture - especially with the ball in midair. |
