Joe suggested the title: A Real Horse's Ass. LOL-good one. |

Waterfalls don't always make good monochrome images but this one is quite nice. The details come out well which seems to sharpen the image. I sort of thought perhaps cropping it more to concentrate on the waterfall? |

I like the treatment you've given this. At first I wondered about the pinto in the lead but to have him there made me go back and forth so you made a good choice. It seems to me that it could be a little sharper or add more details. Overall, nice image.
PS: the image looks pretty sharp on my big monitor. Was on my laptop before. |

Composition-wise I think the weighting of the right side works for me. I like what you've done to get a drab overcast image into color. I sort of wish there were more of the grunge. |

I know you worked hard on this one however, to me, it seems like a "record shot". I'm finding difficulty in focusing on one subject as the pads go every which way. I think perhaps this one would be a good candidate for techniques like Peggy used - something abstract or "arty". |

I like the use of the preset. You do know you can adjust the presets, right? The composition is really nice and the white church steeple stands out among the colored trees. Jerry might be right about the blues being too intense. Overall, very nice interpretation and different from the plain photograph. |

Wish I was down where it's warm. :) I agree with Jerry on the treatment of the colors. Personally, I would like the reflection of the tree in the original so I would have cropped the right as you did but make it a little more of a vertical image. Since you removed the long hanging branch (moss?), I would have removed that small piece a little to the left of that as it seems to me that it's not attached when I first look at it. |
