Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
12 Oct 19 Comment I agree with Barbara about the foreground log and also Carole's version. Beautiful fall scene. Good work. Oct 25th
12 Oct 19 Comment I like the contrasting colors of the red and green. It appears to me some of the leaves look over-sharpened. While both vignettes look good, I rather prefer the white one. Oct 25th
12 Oct 19 Comment I hope this group allows "reworks". I was a little bothered by the tiny red area on the left side. As others had mentioned the twig on the left, I tried removing the twigs on both sides, cropping in a little to take it off center. Overall though it was a nice image. Oct 25th
12 Oct 19 Comment I like the composition of the three pumpkins in the foreground. The texture is very nice and the details in the stalk pieces and the skin is sharp. Nice job. Oct 25th
12 Oct 19 Comment I like the effect you've gotten with the glow. Personally, I would like to see the original position done that way. In the final, my eye goes back and forth and I feel the leaves are rather static. In the original, the placement gives me the feeling that the leaves are falling - especially with the smaller one on the bottom. Oct 25th

22 Oct 19 Comment Beautiful sunset. I like the horizontal flip. Since my eye is going to those lights at the bottom left, I feel it would be better to remove them. Oct 15th
22 Oct 19 Comment I agree with Peggy...the whole image seems to be elongated though I don't know exactly how the original looked. The original seems to be rather keystoned. I tried to make some adjustments to her based on the online picture of the poster. Not the greatest I admit. :)

Good work on giving some PS tools a try.

22 Oct 19 Comment Beautiful scene. I agree with the crop of the sky and also Al's suggestion about the saturation. I tried to make the color corrections but I'm not sure what program will open a JFIF file. Here is the sky crop. Oct 12th
22 Oct 19 Comment I would have liked to see the original - which was probably in color. Great to capture two eras of aircraft.
The general rule is to shoot at no higher than 1/250 in order to keep the propellers in motion. I agree with Jerry about the vignetting. I feel it could be a little softer.

22 Oct 19 Comment Nice job for a first try. I like Jerry's idea for selecting the rider and maybe blurring more of the bike? Panning has never been my forte. Perhaps we could have a panning project for next year? Oct 12th
22 Oct 19 Comment I'm in with the other cropping comments. I like what Stuart of Group 42 did with it. I'm not so sure about the increase in orange color. I rather like the original better. Oct 12th
