You can flip the image by going to Image and then I think it's Rotate. Flip Horizontal will flip the whole image. If you want to remove the green bush on the left, that would be different. Maybe Content Aware would do it. |

Remember - while we want everyone to get out and do some shooting, any of these projects can be done with older images. So check around for something in your archives, do a composite, do something original - whatever works. We have a lot of variety this month. |

Can you be more specific? I'm not sure what you mean.
I do like your version. |

I agree with Kaylyn especially about the left side leaf. I once heard a nature photographer say that when photographing flowers, pick the perfect specimen - not one that's dying off. The yellow leaf seems to be dying. It would be rather hard to crop but cropping the left side would move the lily out of center and perhaps give it a stronger composition. Whatever is left of the leaf could be burned in so it doesn't show as much. The lily itself is nicely exposed. |

Might be able to do that with a mask and a blending mode to bring the background water over the bags but a low opacity so it doesn't cover over the bags.

Kaylynn gets the award for most creative. While it isn't exactly the topic, it is "flower" and Water..okay so the spelling is different.
The selection is really nice. I'm not so sure on the red coloring. I tried it with turning the red to blue using a hue and saturation layer. I also wasn't real fond of the bags just floating so I left part of the candles in. |

When I first saw this image on my computer I thought the same. It's pretty rare to have Lake Michigan with this defined a horizon - but it was a beautiful day. |

I was first struck by the clouds in the water. I agree with Mike about the composition. I'm not sure if the lily pads are soft or if it's a product of the way the light is hitting them. It might be possible to add some detail just in that area. I like the reflection on the left side too. |

I like the position of the upper flowers; however the flowers to the right seem out of focus. This would make a good subject for focus stacking. |

Oops, yeah, I should have cleaned it up a little. |

I like the colors however there are spots where I think the saturation could be toned down a little - like the upper left water. I feel it's too yellow. The original has better water coloring. Overall it's a very nice image. |
