22 Nov 17 Reply I like John's idea of concentrating on the worker. I think you actually have two images here as I lose the sense of the size of the tower when closing in so it might depend on what you are trying to convey with each. I think both ideas are good. Nov 19th
22 Nov 17 Comment Another wonderful shot. This one can go either way. The monochrome is good but I also agree with Peggy that the color has some Wow to it. I tried to deepen the colors with Curves as I thought the original was a little flat - though I understand you would not have changed the color since you wanted to convert to mono. Just wanted to see if there was some more wow in the color version. :) Nov 18th
22 Nov 17 Comment I'm going to disagree with Joe on the depth of field. I find the rearmost goat distracting as it's not in focus. I do like the composition though using the three goats instead of two. The lighting is really nice. I think it shows the goats off well. Another great farm shot. Nov 18th
22 Nov 17 Comment Once again Joe has been at his creative desk. I like the effect it gives and it's certainly unusual. The one point that bothers me is that the top point is cut off. I tried extending the canvas the creating the point. Needs more finesse though. Nov 18th
22 Nov 17 Comment Good capture. It brings a smile to me as well. I agree about removing the right side. This leaves just the man and the parachutist. If I wanted to make it more fun, I would try to put a small target on the top of the man's head. Overall, it's an interesting image. Nov 18th

22 Nov 17 Comment I like the change to a monochrome as I feel it gives it a rather "old time" feel. I agree it lacks a strong subject however I like the way you removed the people. When I look at both images, the people are not only somewhat distracting but also take away that historical feel. I might like to see a little more detail brought out or maybe contrast. Overall, nice image. Nov 18th
22 Nov 17 Reply Thanks Mike. I agree about the HDR. I wanted to give the new On1 Photo Raw a try and see how it handled the HDR. Maybe I'll play with the photo this weekend. Maybe I should turn it black and white...seems like that's the theme this month. :) Nov 10th
22 Nov 17 Reply This was three and I'll try to get the +2 image posted. I'll lighten this one as well. I think my home monitors are brighter because it's too dark on my work monitor. Nov 8th
