PJ is all about the story and less about the techniques. I think it's hard for a PJ image to hold its own in an open competition unless it is a really great image...one of the reasons PSA has a PJ Interclub division. If you are in a local camera club that is not competing in the Interclub competitions, you might want to get them interested. There are several different divisions including PJ, Creative, Open etc. |

I like this better. It seems the house is now in it's own light patch with the darker tree and shadows framing it. Nice. |

This is a cute shot. It looks as though the egret is trying to get the ones on the left to pay attention. Perhaps lighten up the small birds a little? I like the reflections too. |

I guess I'm going to take the other side on this one. It definitely would be PJ or street photography. I find myself wanting the man to have some kind of action - as though he were actually playing the game. The 1/2 person behind the tree I would also remove and perhaps tone down that bike or change the color so it doesn't stick out so much. Content Aware might remove it altogether. |

Nice work! I like the way you brought out the shadows and added some saturation. You have brought the "flatness" of the original into what your eye probably saw.
If doing the vertical pano, remember to shoot the sections horizontally. The same with a horizontal - shoot it vertically. Give you more to work with for any cropping etc. |

You've done a nice job with the composition and framing. I also agree the house seems a little dark. As the house is the subject, it seems like it's not that prominent even though the path in leads you into it. Any closer though and you'd lose the tree. Perhaps when you lighten the house it will become more prominent. |

I'm torn on this one. I like the wall you added however the bricks don't match the bricks on the mural. I keep going over to the right side which is anchored by that piece of light wall or support. I think maybe it could be cropped off?
I also feel the original is interesting in that it presents a sort of odd picture on a building that appears to be in an open area. I'd like to see a wider view of the original showing the grass and more of the old building. |

All fixed. Just love the ways these phones and such think. I normally don't proof the "How's" but I will if everyone agrees. |

Probably an auto-correct? Although I do have different lenses for my cell phone. :)
Mike, I can make the correction if you meant Telephoto. |
