Thanks a lot Jo Ann for your input. I really appreciate all your time and comments. I would love to know how to cut the branches in PS, but... I do not have that much experience. If some of you know any Youtube tutorial that I can follow, I would much appreciate it. I am here to learn and improve. :) |

David, congrats on the picture! I do love the scene and the composition.
I agree that your version was quite dark for my taste and putting more contrast, exposure and light the image improves a lot.
But the thing that more attracts me about your picture is that is not the ´Â´common´Â´ kind of picture we use to see of Iceland, and that is the kind of photography that I enjoy the most.

Hi Jo Ann,
I really like the picture. As Alan mentioned it has a dark mood really interesting for me as well.
I am not an expert in editing pictures, and I use to keep them as they are in real, but I would say that I kind of distract me the post with the yellow cap in front of the door. I would probably have tried a different angle to avoid getting that. Again, that is my only personal taste. But the picture is amazing. Congrats! |

I do love the picture. It captures my attention immediately.
The colors, position, light... It is outstanding.
I would probably have used the route 66 as one of the front ones, just because I do love the graphics and the color differs a lot with the others.. but this is only a personal taste. Probably it works better as you have it!

Yeah, it is pretty close but the bad news is one storm destroyed the tree :(

I agree that there it a cloudy ski will improve it.
And yeah, you are right. The tree took too much attention, but that was kind of my goal.
