Thanks both, I agree the background needs to be more oof and f5.6 would probably have been a better option but did not have time to really think through my options before they moved on.

As you say the lighting is not helping, especially as the main two protagonists are in shadow but that does not take away from the drama you captured in the moment! |

Worth photo-stacking to get this image. They are grown in gardens in the UK but, as you say, the smell is memorable! The leaf is essential for this image, but I wonder if we need to see more and the point at which the flower and leaf join in particular! |
